Will the vehicles have Rent Direct branding on them?
All of the cars we supply are unbranded, making them perfect for corporate car and van hire. Some of the vehicles in our van fleet are also unbranded. Please speak with us if you would prefer your corporate hire van to be unbranded.
Can you supply electric vehicles?
We have a comprehensive selection of electric vehicles available. In fact, we currently only have electric cars available to hire.
Are you able to accommodate last minute vehicle hire requests?
From Kia Ceeds to Ford Transits, we work hard to ensure we always have something available for last-minute hires. Whilst we can almost always accommodate next-day collections, for on-the-day requests, get in touch with a friendly member of our team, and we will do our best to get your rental vehicle needs sorted sharpish.
Do you require a deposit to rent a vehicle?
We require a ÂŁ200 deposit to secure your hire vehicle. We will refund this in full upon safe return of our vehicle in undamaged condition and with a full tank of fuel.
Do you have a minimum rental period?
Here at Rent Direct, we don't have a minimum rental period for renting a vehicle. However, the longer you hire the vehicle, the more competitive the price we can offer. To obtain the best possible long-term hire price, we recommend hiring the car for at least three months.
Is mileage restricted for long-term hires?
Just like our short-term hire agreements, you will need to specify the mileage you expect to drive during your long-term vehicle rental period. This will help us provide a more accurate and favourable quote for your long-term hire agreement.
Can I hire a car for just one or two months?
Yes. As we have no minimum retention period, you can hire a car from Rent Direct for as little as one or two months. Rates are most competitive from around three months onwards, but shorter periods can still be arranged - just get in touch and we'll quote you a rate based on your exact hire length.
Can I hire a vehicle for 6 months or a full year?
Yes, we regularly arrange 6-month and 12-month hire agreements for both personal and business customers. The longer the agreed term, the better the rate we can offer, so extended hires of this length usually work out particularly cost-effective compared to shorter rentals.
Is long term car rental cheaper than short term rental?
Yes, generally speaking.
