Had an excellent experience hiring a car from here. I’ve never hired a car before, my car had to go into the garage for the week and I needed to go away for a few days so hired from rentdirectuk. I’ve read many horror stories online about hiring cars and I was also ready for the hard sell on the excess but my experience couldn’t have been further from this. Yes I was asked if I would like the excess but after saying no thank you that was the end of it. I was not given any sell on anything for that matter. The two chaps that dealt with me, Paul and Peter were extremely professional and lovely to deal with and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. My car was essentially brand new which slightly intimidated me lol but after returning the car, there were no issues and I was given my deposit back. I’d highly recommend hiring from them especially when compared to the larger hire companies who I personally would rather avoid. The pricing is very good value and it was all very straightforward and I felt most importantly that they were professional and trustworthy. Highly recommended!!
