Small MPV Hire in East Anglia
If you’ve booked a holiday in the UK for family or friends, but need more space than a standard-sized car to carry everyone’s luggage, then a small MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) will do the job. Designed to carry more people than standard five-seater hatchback cars, a small MPV is a great choice for bigger families or groups of friends.
What is a small MPV?
A little larger than an estate car, but slightly more compact than a van-shaped MPV, our small MPVs come with seven seats and a sizable boot. Not to be confused with an SUV, a 7-seater small MPV has three rows of seats; two in the front (driver and passenger), three in the middle, with an additional two seats at the rear. A small MPV may also be referred to as a compact MPV or people carrier.
What size is a small MPV?
A small MPV is usually between 4.2-4.3 metres in length. Unlike large MPVs, small MPVs have four standard doors, plus a boot hatch. Typically, small MPVs are higher than a standard hatchback car and are often chosen for their flexible interior space, as the third row of seats can be folded down to create even more room in the boot if required.
Benefits of a small MPV
As well as the option to choose between five and seven seats, a small MPV offers many other benefits too, including:
- Family-friendly interior design
- Higher driving position
- Plenty of storage space
- Towing capabilities
- Enhanced driver and passenger safety
